Debojyoti Mishra is an Indian film composer.[1] He became popular with his minimalist classical compositions for the film Raincoat.[2] He also worked on a Bengali film, Chaturanga.[3] The songs he composed for the Bengali movie Autograph starring Prasenjit Chatterjee, Nandana Sen and Indranil Sengupta, gained immense popularity. The most popular song was "Amake Aamar Moto Thakte Dao". He has also composed music for the Malayalam film Calcutta News, which was set in Kolkata.

Childhood and Early years

Born in a musical family where his father Jahnabi Ranjan Mishra, who was a disciple of Ustad Ali Akbar Khan and Shishir Konya Dhar Choudhary, tutored him and introduced him to violin.[4]

Debojyoti Mishra is married to Jonaki Mukherjee.[5]
